MARIAM
For many years Mariam focused his creative efforts, building a reputation as an imaginative and respected session musician, producer, composer and arranger.
Classically trained on both the guitar and piano, Mariam's instrumental talents blend unqualified virtuosity with down-to-earth sensibility. Mariam also plays drums, dobro, bass, steel guitar, keyboards and mandolin. Merging distintive improvisation with impeccable technique, his style and creativity have often been said to reach far into the listener's soul.
Mariam's previous solo albums include Mesa Sunrise, Nights of Passage and Canyon Moon, all of which received critical acclaim.
Through the collaborations with Kincaid and Huckaby Junction, Mariam has resurrected his love for, and return to, mainstream composition, arrangement, production, as well as live performance.
TERRY KINCAID
Profiled by a newspaper journalist, Terry was described as a first-rate singer, entertainer, musical poet, honky-tonk addict and hardcore troubadour, who combines complex sensitive issues with disarmingly straightforward country/blues music and lyrics.
Terry has written for and shared the stage with many name entertainers including Alabama, Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, Delbert McClinton, Johnny Lee, Mickey Gilley, Tanya Tucker and Dottie West.
Terry's previous solo albums include, Life on the Road, Whatever You Want, and When the Night Comes Around.
RELIEF SONG
In 2005 Kincaid and Mariam teamed up to pen, Once in a Lifetime, a contemporary ballad, written specifically as a benefit mechanism for the victims of hurricanes Katrina and Rita. The Internet Site - www.reliefsong.com - featured the song as a download, asking only for donations to any of several charities. Coupled with a great deal of radio and television support, the effort produced hundreds of thousands of dollars in donation monies to the charities.
HUCKABY JUNCTION
Other members of the Huckaby Junction stage and recording group include, Denise Eilers-Kincaid, bass and vocals; Bev Gallaher, mandolin, guitar and vocals; George Murillo, keyboards.
